Cities and Flooding - A Guide to Integrated Risk Management

Floods are the most frequent among all natural disasters. In 2010 alone, 178 million people globally were affected by floods. More than 90 % of the global population exposed to floods lives in Asia. Join Abhas K. Jha, lead author of the guidebook, for a live chat on February 22, 2012, at 15:00 GMT (11:00 p.m. Beijing time), on how cities can better prepare for and manage floods.
