OverviewHosted by the Philippines Department of Eduation (DepED) and co-organized by UNESCO-Bangkok and Intel, in cooperation with the World Bank and the Korean Education Research & Information Service (KERIS), the second Asia-Pacific Ministerial Forum on ICT Education (AMFIE 2011) provided countries in the region wish a platform to share experiences and discuss strategies on the roles and uses of technology in education. The theme of AMFIE 2011, which took place on 13-14 July 2011, was "Evaluation and Assessment: Effective and Safe Use of ICT in Education".
