The KDCs offer the following services to the public, free of charge: Internet access for research purposes Room use and online access to development-related publications of the World Bank and other established authors Room viewing of CDs and videotapes about development issues Access to a catalog that shows the collection of around 60 World Bank public information centers around the world, and which includes dowloadable versions of publications Free copies of select World Bank publications
The KDC collection includes not just World Bank materials, but also the publications of other development agencies and works of established authors. KDCs have a partnership with the Books for Asia program of The Asia Foundation, United Nations Information Center, World Health Organization – Western Pacific Regional Office and Asian Development Bank. KDCs have resources for persons with disabilities. People who are on wheelchair, have low vision, blind, and deaf can access the center freely. KDCs are equipped with modern assistive equipment and facilities that make access to information easier for persons with disabilities (PWDs) such as: Screen magnification for people with low vision Screen reader for the blind Wide space or path of travel for those on wheelchairs Track ball mouse for those with psychomotor disabilities Braille translator and Braille embosser for the blind

Depository and Regional Libaries, Local Book Distributors The World Bank's Depository and Regional Library Program is a key element in its publication strategy. Through the libraries, the Bank shares with the public its researches, studies, and databases. The Bank has depository library agreements with four universities and a government agency.
